I would be crying alongside you in sympathy except for one thing: this past week proved to me that watching Glee in real time -- not waiting, say, 15 minutes even, so that I can run the show straight through -- is UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLY ANNOYING!! The commercials just went on and on and on and on and I swear, just when I FINALLY knew they had ended, yet ANOTHER commercial for American Idol or SYTYCD would come up and I had to scream into my pillow.

Your concert will allow you to watch Glee in peace.

That is ONLY a good thing b'c I swear to God I was one step away from a coronary Tuesday evening.

Ugh, that is SO true - the amount of commercials during Glee is just ridiculous; I'm pretty sure there are more during that show than any of my others. Yeesh. But I can't deny my "OMFG GLEE IS ON I MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT" impulse, that's the problem. But you're right, it's probably for the best *sigh*

OTOH, the sheer joy and happiness of having Kurt returned to McKinley, serenaded, hugged by clueless Finn, singing the most beautiful song on earth, staging a Barbravention, starting off BTW, wearing six different outfits throughout the show, and basically just being able to stare at the pretty for 20 minutes of that time more than made up for the petty annoyances like endless commercials, and watching Lauren act like a complete bitch.

You know you're in a batshit insane fandom when you it interferes with what sounds like a pretty awesome concert. Honestly -- I discovered Freelance Whales two weeks ago, and I'm already jealous. And I'm not a huge All Time Low fan, but something tells me that their concerts would be crazy fun.

But I know the feeling... I'm working during the the livestreaming time this week, so I'll have to come home, wait for the episode to download (without being able to even stalk half my favourite comms because I just know -- I'll get swept up in their excitement and it will ruin everything). HELL ON EARTH IS AN ADEQUATE DESCRIPTION.

Hahaha IKR? I shouldn't be so upset, but there it is. What's funny about Freelance Whales is that I knew about them a long time ago and I downloaded one of their songs almost a year ago because it was featured in another show I watched. I didn't realize Darren's brother was in it until I read about it. Then I gave the band a more serious chance and fell in love with them <3

I've loved All Time Low for a while when their songs were a bit more...serious? The lyrics were certainly a lot better circa 2006, but they're so much fun and they sound great live.

Lol I never watch shows live anymore. EVER. I watched The Vampire Diaries live last week and it was SO awesome though, haha, that's currently the 1 show if I had to choose 1 that I'd always love to watch live if I could. It used to be Heroes. They're just something about all the insane cliffhangers in every scene of every episode of those shows that made me die to see them. XD I really do prefer not having to skip through commercials, even on DVRs - illegally downloaded commercial-free copies are way better haha. XD I'm spoiled by them now.

But yeah have fun at your AWESOME concert and don't for 1 second let yourself think about Glee lol! XD

I'm going to my first ever real concert on Sunday! I'm going to see 30 Seconds to Mars because they're coming to my school (Boston University). I'm so lame that I've never been to a concert before haha... so I'm excited. ;)

And btw I just sent my newest chapter of my Just For You fic to my beta. FINALLY. It's a whole fourth author's note. It's quite pathetic. XD I need to write an epic and long final chapter to the fic now to make up for its lameness. She probably won't get it back to me until tomorrow evening at the earliest, since I'm sure she's sleeping now (she's in England) and has work or school or something tomorrow... XD But yeah I just thought I'd tell you, I finally will be posting some new fanfiction of my own soon. XD Yay.

Totally fine - I think everyone in every fandom is kind of slowing down now for one reason or another. I blame school -_- This weekend/next week are going to be terrible. I adore Dickens and I've only read P&P...but yeah, I don't know why but I think Wuthering Heights is grossly overrated, at least so far.
