The following people have been seen in St Andrews this week: Hugh Grant, Bill Murray, Ronan Keating, Michael Vaughan, Sam Torrance (leader of Ryder Cup team) and of course, Tony Blair.

It delights me how blase we are about celebrities here.

Mary being in Manchester amuses me too. Also, her and Julie Walters? Sooooooo cute! And I get the same feeling about Mary being there that I had when I met Kate Mulgrew in Milton Keynes. I was like "You're a goddess: what are you doing among all the mortals in frakkin' Milton Keynes of all the godforsaken places?!". *grins*

A couple of years ago, I woulda been able to give you the most dorkishly accurate answer to that question (being as I was the biggest Kate fan evah) but now alas, I'm not sure. I know she says she loves London and has possibly holidayed in Cornwall but that's all.

omgs! bill murray! i ADORE bill murray! i worked as a nanny for his niece and nephew, alas, i wasn't lucky enough to meet him. :(
