Harriet is SO CUTE when she's eating. I may have watched the burger bit a few times. XD Also I'm pretty sure Harriet's vegetarian, so that's likely either a veggie burger or Quorn in there...which amuses me for some reason. And awww Ronnie (old dude in specs) went & bought her that Chinese food, it was adorable.
Awww. During the Mad Cow Disease scare when I was younger, my mum had us all eating Quorn burgers. I don't find them too bad, actually.
Natalie's not in many scenes (and of course the show is split into halves between the two teams), but what she gets is gooood. And you can watch it just to see how we Brits do your tv show.
-HOLYCRAP I LOVE HARRIET IN RED! -I absolutely love her hair like this. -You have made this show sound incredibly badass. The only thing I've seen is the opening sequence so I can't WAIT for this to come out on dvd.

Everything you describe about her character, Natalie, sounds quite like Brenda Leigh from The Closer. Competent, not bitchy. I appreciate the distinction, because so many women really *are* portrayed as simply being bitchy.
Yes, hopefully you'll eventually be able to rent it or something. I enjoy the show, but I've never and will never watch the US versions. Just not my bag.

The mark of Natalie's atypicalness is that Harriet agreed to play her, because Harriet is sick of playing stiff-backed female authority figures and of playing severe characters in general. Also the show does a good job of not making a big deal that Natalie has a family, which I find refreshing. And she's not a workaholic.
Natalie wins at life. I remember first spotting that in the promo shot and going crazy with glee.
