As am sinfully slothful, and have only short snatches of time to use the computer, and can't bear reiterating the same things to different people over and over, instead of a real update, am cutting and pasting parts of recent emails to Per below. All regard the above subject heading, more or less, lj-cut for convenience.

Why would you want to be white? I'm super-white for whitey, and all it does for me is make my summer one, long, sunsick misery.

Man, I DON'T! If people were concerned about my tanning for health reasons, I'd appreciate it, but when it's because they think I'm deformed, I say nuts to them. NUTS TO THEM.

MISS ELAINe-IOUS!!!!! I have seen the new superman (thinking only of you the whole time, of course), and i must say that brandon routh (see lj icon) is, in my very own brilliant words, DEVASTINGLY ATTRACTIVE. there were some parts were i could very literally NOT BREATHE. i CANNOT wait until you come home so that we may revel in the, shall we say, SUPER splendor of the supes. hope china is fun and amazing!!! send me a postcard!

All I can say is the suit-ripping made my eyes water with its magnificence.

Plus, I am in TAIWAN, not China, ma'am. And yez, maybe a sternly-worded postcard will help you remember that, HMMMMMMMMMM?!!!?!?!? J/k! I lorve you. Also when will you be back from going to New York wiv Aub? Am tres confused about you guys' plans for Aug. 6th...?
