Like John was dumb enough to consider going to the Flight Shed after last night's radio. He'd rolled his eyes at the many, many, voicemail messages Prof. Skywalker had left for him and had gone through his typical Friday activities instead, only returning to his bunk for a shower before dinner

It didn't matter that it wasn't Jaina's cabin. She wanted to see her boyfriend. So hoping no one got mad for her daring to walk into a cabin she'd already slept in, she stood in the doorway to his alcove and said, "Apparently apologies are futile."

"Tell me you didn't," John said, glancing up at her from his selection process.
