Ben poked his head into the doorway. "She's still a cat?"

Ben looked unhappy. "She's only been angry with Jacen for a little while?" he offered.

John didn't want Ben to be unhappy. "Hey, at least she has a Jacen. It'll be interesting to figure out what else is different in your universe."

"I bet here she doesn't spend as much time with Zekk and Jag," Ben said with a slight smirk.

John raised an eyebrow. "Not to my knowledge. I don't know that I'd heard about a Jag before you said something. I'd remember a stupid name like that."

"Jagged Fel," Ben said with a small roll of his eyes. "Good pilot. No sense of humor at all."

"Seriously?" John snickered. "I can't wait till Jaina can talk again."

"He has dark hair, too," Ben said helpfully.

John tilted his head to the side. "I have dark hair, too, you know." So did the pop star. "Is he short?"

"Not really?" Ben replied.

[missed_the_gate]

"Is he a Jedi?" John should stop asking questions.

[momslilassassin]

"Nope, just a pilot," Ben said.

[missed_the_gate]

John knew better than to be jealous of some future guy in an alternate reality. And yet. "Huh. I'm a pilot."

[momslilassassin]

"Really?" Ben grinned. "What do you fly?"

[missed_the_gate]

"Keeping in mind that my planet doesn't have much by way of space flight, I fly airplanes." John launched into a rather detailed description of what he'd flown in classes and simulators.

Ben's eyes lit up at the descriptions--typical Skywalker--and rattled off a number of insanely detailed questions.

"Master Petrelli flew something like that in the Navy here," he said. "I did some research."
