Thankfully, sister and brother-in-law were able to FaceTime again tonight since it was really clear how close it was. He couldn’t talk, but he really was trying and we kept telling him it was OK and that we know. And then a little while ago, my sister gave me the call to let me know that he had passed

Out of physical words at the moment but I appreciate it HUGS. I took this coming week off work since I didn't do it last year and regret not doing it (I get three "bereavement" days but I have plenty of vacation time to use anyway).

Been keeping busy cleaning and stuff and spoiling the boy who needs to leave his damned ear alone
