Dad update

Old dude is in the penthouse (which in the hospital he's in is on the 4th floor). For his partial bowel blockage, they're doing bowel rest so no food yet. It sounds hopeful that he might not have to have surgery since he's been going to the bathroom. Obviously not much since the poor guy doesn't have much in him but still a good sign that things

Sadly, she really didn’t. The only thing she did is she answered when the hospital called and then she answered when dad called. Since this, she hasn’t done shit. She’s told them that she’s not the medical power of attorney and to call me which well that’s I guess a minimum but still. And it sounds like she’s “too busy” to bring dad any clothing so if he gets to get discharged tomorrow or Saturday, I’m going to have to find a way to buy him some scrubs since his pajamas are ruined and arrange for a medical transport or an Uber back to the facility

Whew, sending healing vibes for your dad! Intestinal and bowel blockages are so common for seniors :S I hope the liquid diet works and he feels better soon.
