On the way home from work today, I stopped in at the new-ish thrift shop at Quadra and Hillside. I'd never been there before, and I found some great bargains, including a purse, a hardcopy cover of "Silence of the Lambs" and a barely-functional 80s crimping iron, all for only $5.21 ( Read more... )

So far, Leo is still among us. There was some miscommunication yesterday and after freaking out at me for not being where I was supposed to be, my mom decided not to take him in, after all! ...WTF?
