Heh. Lucky you. I understand your position. I've started inheriting everything for Colin's family. First, it was Thanksgiving and, if I understand correctly, I'll have Christmas Eve this year, as well. I usually have them over for Easter, too, so that will make all the major holidays at my house. My SIL will still have the smaller group over for Christmas day because I couldn't deal with Christmas Eve and the next day as well. I usually sing at the Midnight Mass so I don't know how I'd cope. Also, that's the day we generally spend with my family and while we could certainly combine, it's just too much ( ... )

Yep, that is exactly what I did! After the three hours, I took it out, put a glaze on it (brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar) and stuck it in the oven for a bit and it came out so tasty!

Luckily, I have cousins nearby and we take turns for the big holidays (New Year's, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) and it works well. This was only my immediate family which was more manageable.
