Every fandom has it's predictable fanfictions then?
M*A*S*H seems to have billions that focus on one pairing getting together. It got boring after a while.

I think so, yeah.
I feel kind of hypocritical saying so, since I've written a few shipping fics myself, though the fics I'm most proud of were either non-shipping or less conventional pairings.
