CHAPTER 1
Lisa was at the hotel picking a dress to wear for a very special concert she would attend tonight. She was so anxious to hear him perform; she just loved seeing how he played piano, guitar, anything with those fingers that did magic to her and that sweet voice, gosh, hear that sweet and sexy voice singing. She pushed these thoughts away and came back to the dress, which color she should wear? Yeah, she was definitely going to wear the blue dress, his favorite color and it was a great choice cause it matched with the color of her eyes. She put her heels and her make up on, she wanted to look fabulous tonight. It’s time, she pick up her purse and was all ready to go. She got into her car and drove all the way where the concert would be. She was kinda nervous cause he didn't know she was there, that she was going to see him, she wanted to surprise him and hoped he would enjoy. She arrived and took a deep breath before walking inside.
He was a little nervous cause it was his first show from his new album and he was told that they had a full house tonight, this also made him happy, he just wished she was there with him, that he could share this moment with her but he knew she had to be in LA because of her work and to not give chance for bad gossip about their life, they had been together for couple months already but keep privative until his divorce papers come out. So he standed up and walked in his band direction, they all wished their good luck and walked on the stage.
She froze when she saw him. He was so perfect, so sexy, so handsome. She was absolutely speechless. He started to sing and everybody right after him, she could tell that he was loving the feeling.
After one hour:
He was now in the last song, it has been an entertaining concert, he started to play the melody on the piano and before started to sing he said: “I wanna dedicate this song to a very special person in my life that I love with all my heart, this one is for you who couldn't be here tonight but will always be with me, in my heart, wherever I go.” Then he started to sing 'let them talk'.
She couldn't believe what he had just said. From nowhere she felt tears falling. He was singing this song to her and it was breathtaking. And while he sang, the words echoed in her head:
'Between you and I
I'll keep on loving you until the day I die'
'They're tryin' to breakup our romance
But they don't have a chance
We have the kind of love
That's so strong
We'll be together from now on...'
He finished the song, the crowed cheered, he thanked and walked out of the stage. While she was in the corner touched by the moment, she walked out and went to meet him at the backstage.
He was giving interviews and taking pictures with fans when he saw her, an angel, in a blue dress getting closer and closer, he couldn’t believe she was there, she had come to see him, she kept smiling and continue to walk in his directions as he walked in hers. They stopped right in front of each other and she said with a shy smile:
“Hi”
“Hi.” he answered with a soft voice. “What are you doing here? I thought you were busy in Los Angeles.”
“I was but then I realized this was something big to you and I couldn't not be by your side cause you are way more important than what I had to do in LA.”
They fell in silence just looking at each others eyes trying to figure out what the other were thinking.
“You're so sweet” he said brushing his thumb in her cheeks. “Did you like it?”
“Yes, very much. You were wonderful as always.” she said with a bigger smile.
“Did you like the song that I sang for you?” he said smiling, his sexy smile that he knew how much she loved, but as soon as the words were spoken her heart stopped. She was sure that he had sung to her but hearing it from his mouth made everything more special, she couldn't help but feel the tears again. She just loved him so much and had never been so happy in her entire life.
“Very much, thank you” she said sniffing.
They locked eyes and he made his mind, he loved her so much and wanted the whole world to know this, he didn’t want more secrets, so he kissed her, the most passionate kiss they have ever had, it was like he wanted show to her that he really meant each word of the music and while they kissed they had forgot about the people who were standing there, in this exactly moment there was just the two of them.
After a long, sweet, deep and full of love kiss they parted to catch their breaths but their foreheads were in contact. Lisa realized that they were in the backstage with everyone staring at them and started to panic. Hugh could tell by her eyes, they always said what she was feeling. He smiled at her and in her ear he whispered:
"'Let them talk if they want to, talk don't bother me, I want the whole wide world to know that I love you so'. “It’s time already."
He kissed her again and she smiled in their kissed she couldn't feel more loved and this couldn't be more right. Everybody in the backstage started to take pictures but the fact was...they were too involved in theirs own feelings to care. She broke the kiss and he protested a little.
“Let's get out of here” she said with a evil smile.
He knew that smile very well, he smirked and holds her hand and they walked away from there.
