i very much enjoyed this. i love that they're off together... that they've been married for several years... that they're on water...

i just love the whole romantic feel of it.

and...

When he leaned closer and whispered in her ear-saying beautiful and tantalizing things-a delightful shiver ran down the length of her spine. Her eyelids fell shut.

Even after all these years, her heart still leapt whenever they were like this. It was a testament, not only to their unwavering bond, but to the enduring fire between them.

The ship rocked gently, once, twice, and three times. Then, still breathless, Laura looked to his face and met his eyes.

i REALLY LOVE this moment! made my heart skip a beat, and the whole ficlet left me with a big goofy smile on my face!!

This was lovely, such a calm yet vividly painted scene. You have a wonderful way with these characters.

What a lovely scene. I could see them so vividly on the ship. I really like how you placed this years after they were married and tied it back to Laura's grandparents.
