I have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe. Gets slightly worse gas milage than my prizm did, but I don't have to put in two quarts of oil with every tank of gas!

I think it's a little ridiculous that brand-new vehicles can get worse mileage than n-year-old junkers. :/

It's due to increased weight, in turn due to DOT mandates.

Apparently she had valid reasons for doing so; the Vibe is basically the same car, but GM is giving employee pricing whereas Toyota is not.

Grats on the new ride (and I assume payment). I've always liked Pontiacs. Hope it treats you well.
