One of the nicest things being a teacher is the summers. I'm being such a bum- my couch is so comfy. Bit is addicted to Dora the Explorer, and asks so sweetly for it. "Momma, may I PLEASE have some Dora please?" Thing is, he doesn't want to take no for an answer! The amount of Dora I can watch without descending into insanity is none at all. It melts my brain more than any other show that isn't truly awful.

I don't have brain-melting issues, but the insipid songs get stuck in my head, and it drives me nuts.

I have that problem with the Backyardigans. The songs aren't terrible, but they have to be pried out with a crowbar.

Blue's Clues. The songs can stay for days, even with playing other music. And when one of those songs is about going to the bathroom. . . At least Mara has picked up some sign language from it.
