Aurelan finished reviewing her department's duty roster and sat back in her chair, stretching. It had been a long two days; since arriving and meeting with Captain Kirk, she had been working non-stop to make sure everything was ready for departure, in addition to auditing the inventory in case those missing medical supplies were just misplaced. After what was a rather long but satisfying day, Bones headed to the Quartermasters office to check on his supplies.

"Hello," he called out, looking around but not seeing anyone readily available to speak with him. "Anyone around?"

"Just a minute!" Aurelan called as she headed back toward the office. Technically, she was off duty, but with crew still arriving steadily, she planned to stick around until things had settled down. She'd just been reviewing security measures with her beta shift staff.

She shifted her PADD to her left hand as she approached the visitor. "You must be Dr. McCoy," she said with a smile, extending her hand. "I'm Aurelan Jira."
