I love it! I agree with that the higher waisted the pants or shorts the better. I love Gloria Vanderbilt jeans from Kohls since they have an unbelievably high waist, at least compared to most jeans that are available these days.

Thank you so much!

Oh, I totally forgot to mention that these capris are actually Gloria Vanderbilts! And I have a modern day pair of jeans that are Gloria Vanderbilts, as well that I adore (much more flattering than a lot of the jeans they have in the junior's department).

Love the outfit! And I maybe a little biased, but I just LOVE high waisted anything, so I totally love the pedal pushers (isn't that what they called them back in the 60's, not capris?)I'm wearing some of my homemade high waisted shorts today. =]

Oh yes, I got your e-mail. I've been meaning to e-mail you back! Darn. Been pretty busy with work. Maybe I should just give you a call on the old fashion telephone!

Thanks! :)

I don't know if they called them pedal pushers . . . all of the references and pics I've seen of them online have refered to them as capris, although it could be another example of modern terminology being applied to a period thing that wasn't applied to that period thing during the time period.

Okay good to know that you got my e-mail (it's been a bit spotty lately, for some reason). If you do call, don't do it between 9:15 and 12:30 since I'm in class then. ;)Oh, and did I give you my new cell #? (We switched phones about a year ago, although I don't remember who I updated on that) I just want to work out what days for camping, since Brigade registration is due on Saturday.
