But I'm not the best person to judge since I LOVE Janis XDDD

Honestly... I never did. She wasn't an artist I had any appreciation for when I was younger. Now, though, every time I happen to hear one of her songs, I get totally swept away by it and start thinking... "What the hell was I smoking when I was younger that I didn't think you were totally awesome??"

*snerts* Better late than never, I suppose. ^_^

Ohhh I was like that too! I just started liking her when I was 17, and even in that time it was only some songs. It was this live recording of Little Girl Blue that changed my mind

She sings it with so much passion =D

But I understand why some people don't like her, she's one of those singers that you can fall in love with, but she's harder to get XD
It takes a while, but with a little patience, you can see the sand turning into a pearl =P
