cute! she's not a real maiko, though, she's what we call a "faiko". They have places in gion where anyone can go and dress up like a maiko or geisha for a fee, and even walk around kyoto. I've even seen pics of guys dress up like maiko. (shudder)

I KNOW, bella has a problem with her ear and won't stay still long enough for me to look at it. I can't imagine trying to get her into a mummy wrap!

I don't know what's up with that tattoo....I wish I could meet the person who got it!!
