HAIZ CHAR I'M HERE. You're gonna like totz hate me for correcting you, but I always thought you, CHAR, were the ultimate in spelling and grammar, but lately I've noticed you've been using then instead of than? WHY CHAR?! NOT YOU TOO!! Seriously, everyone gets that wrong these days. It's my biggest pet peeve. So, I couldn't not say something. lol. PLEASE TELL ME YOU KNOW YOU WERE SPELLING IT WRONG BUT IT WAS JUST BECAUSE YOU HAD A REALLY ROUGH DAY BECAUSE MONKEYS ATTACKED YOU AND STOLE YOUR BLACKBERRY. or something.
a) LOL OH GOD I AM SO SORRY. No, I think that's actually the one thing I do occasionally mess up that cant be put down to a typo. That said, I also regularly mess up the spelling of "definite" and "guarantee", though I do pride myself on being somewhat of a grammar queen. but in regards to then/than, you are right and I am wrong AND NOW I'M GONNA GO CRY :(
b) If you could be in this room and see how fast I type, you would be shocked I don't typo things more often. My fingers, they fly like fancy feet.
c) I WISH I had a blackberry for the monkeys to steal!!!
d) Footnote: At least I'm not one of those they're/their/there people. Whatever would we do.
Yesh, well I know you're a good speller so I was like WHY CHAR?! If you had a MySpace like I do, you'd be going all crazy and anal about it like I am, because I have over 900 friends on there and about 890 of them have "then" spelt incorrectly on their profile somewhere. I wrote a myspace blog about it actually *clears throat* AHEM:
also, I'm sorry, DO NOT CRY! *hands you steve carrel wrapped up with a big bow* ...IDK, wouldn't everyone like to receive steve carrel as a gift at some point? i spell definite wrong too, well used to but i've trained myself that it's definITE and not definATE!
I've seen him look scared of Bruce Willis but that's about it. LOL! It's true, although I'm quite fond of MP from friends and the RIDICULOUS rom-com with Selma Hayek 'When Fools Rush In'. If you want to see him do a serious role, he recently did a movie with Lauren Graham that was supposed to be really good.
I remember liking Studio 60 in the beginning, but it was v. pretentious and full of itself and like "oh, aren't we so smart?" and I just felt like "this isn't a show about politics, it's supposed to be a comedy. so....make me laugh a bit, please. just a tiny giggle will do!" But I did think that Amanda Peet did well in her role.
I kinda wish NPH had won because Jeremy Piven has already won twice before and he just plays the same angry character as the last two years. But I'm BIASED (and I totes didn't even factor in that HIMYM was a half-hour sitcom with a laugh track. If I'd remembered that, maybe I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up and then crushed.)
LOL when I was younger "Fools Rush In" was like my favourite movie. I remember being in the video store nagging my mum to let me rent it yet again on VHS! MP is kinda awesome though, I'd just never seen him do anything serious before.
"this isn't a show about politics, it's supposed to be a comedy. so....make me laugh a bit, please. just a tiny giggle will do!" That's pretty much what I was thinking when I watched it! I felt like it was trying to be too many things. I'll see how the rest of the season goes though, cause it's on air here in like 2 weeks time.
I hope you weren't too crushed! I always wonder about the Emmys and sitcoms, cause the sitcoms never win yet Two And A Half Men gets nominated every year and that's even more sitcommy then HIMYM. But I don't know, I jsut had afeeling he wouldn't get it. Sadly!
