To get straight into things, the whole Bon Jovi ticket thing was a complete bust, LOL. First up there was a pre-sale two days ago for the BWBJ/paid fan club members, and the Melbourne allocation sold out in less than 30 seconds. Public sale began at 9am, and in less than 3 minutes they were all gone - which I know because tickets were sold out ( Read more... )

Awww, sorry that you didn't get tickets. I hate when that happens. You feel like the REAL fans are shafted for ebay snipers. *shakes fist*

aw that sucks, I hate when that happens too. I really hope they add another show you can go to, usually with tickets selling that fast they do add extra shows (if they can fit them in)

awww Char I feel bad now! I managed to get tickets (just!) but I know how much you love them and I wish you could go too! I got mine in the internet presale for Perth as soon as it opened on Monday, intending to get Gold tickets ($139 for seating around about the middle - premium were $199) and I could not get 5 tickets in Gold, 5 minutes after the PRESALE opened. So we ended up getting silver tickets, which is still better than nothing I guess!

But, if you and your mum wanna come to Perth, I will kick out the first 2 people who haven't paid me back and you can have those tickets instead :) silver tickets were $99.

Haha, don't feel bad! Perth tickets were apparentally a lot easier to grab than Melbourne tickets because you guys get a bigger venue. (Part of the reason melb tickets sold out do quickly was because they're playing Sidney Myer Music Bowl, which is tiny, but all the decent venues are booked out for the Australian Open, LOL). The Perth gold/silver/premium ticket thing makes so much morer sense than our ticket pricing - $130 doesn't even get you a seat, it gets you standing room on the lawn behind the seats D: I am also envious of the presales you got, since I think we only got the BJ fanclub pre-sale and the general sale. The Melb ticket thing was all just completely dodgy, I think.

Anyway onto the super important bit: I went to my mum about going to Perth expecting her to say jno, and she is dead set considering it instead! So what i'm asking is, when do you need to know by in regards tot hose silver tickets? Cause she wants to give it a day or two's thought, but it's definately looking hopeful. Let me know, you can email me.

I will look into it... It's highly unlikely I'm going to get any money off any of the 4 people any time soon, but if you're definitely going to come to Perth, I can try and get you two more tickets. I just looked up on the website, and I found 2 silver tickets CLOSER than the ones I got in the presale, LOL! So basically I think there are a few tickets still left, so if you want me to get two, I should hopefully be able to do that, whether it's 2 that people don't pay me for, or an extra 2 off the website. :)

Yeah, I just went to ticketmaster and realized that tickets are still available - I just got 2 silver tickets in E15, which is like on the back of the floor section, LOL. So yeah, we're thinking what we'll do is fly up on the Thursday and then head home on the weekend, since we have money/travis/dad to consider. The only concern for my mum is us being able to get around due to our car-lessness, particularly getting back to wherever we're staying after the show. I'm waiting on her final answer (she says she'll decide today or tomorrow) but it is looking very very hopeful :DDD I'll let you know a bit more laterish.
