I haven't seen The Social Network either! Even though my beloved Rashida is in it.

I really liked The Hurt Locker as well! I was so glad that it won the oscar. And apparently jump started Jeremy Renner's career. How was he in The Town? I've not yet seen that but I want to.

What's Moon about that makes it so scary? I've never heard of it before. Also, I have a feeling that my 'movies I watched only because of the hot people' list would be even longer than yours. I can be quite shallow.

Last note: while I love Cate Blanchett, I was not prepared for the complete twist they pulled on teh Robin Hood mythos in the film. I kept being outraged for no good reason. It's too bad you missed the end, Cate wears chainmail!!!

Apparently the Social Network is extremely sexist in terms of how women are portrayed, which was one of the reasons I avoided it. I'm going to see it soon though through not-quite-legal means!

Jeremy Renner was actually really good in The Town, though most of the focus is on Ben Affleck since he directed it. (A fact I didn't actually know until his name came up at the end of the film!)

The creepiest part about Moon I can't tell you because it spoils the big twist in the film, but the premise is creepy by itself lol. It's about a guy (Sam Rockwell) who's on a three year contract on the moon doing research, all by himself except for a helper robot thing and with basically no contact with Earth. So essentially he's in solitary confinement on the moon until his employment term is up. The scenery and the storyline is just really creepy, especially the twist and the robot thing!

Yes, it's a nice true story, but it still comes across as Rich White Person resuces Impoverished Strange Black Person From A Strange Ghetto.

this is exactly why I didn't watch it. :|||||

you should see toy story 3! and inception and the social network :DDDD

i thought crazy heart was really good but it's jeff bridges playing a country musician so it's not for everyone! he was really good in it though, he deserved the oscar for it.

we'll definitely find another one to see! there's a heap i want to see as well, with the exception of king's speech because i couldn't handle it lol.

the king's speech is really good. good actors, what could be a 'boring' story, has just the right touches of warm, funny, sad, touching. its about a man overcoming his speech impediment, so I dont think its upsetting or anything. just saying, maybe think about seeing it? xo

I'll think about seeing it, yeah. I just feel like I'd probably feel uncomfortable watching it since I'm working thorugh my speech/social anxiety issues with my psych right now, is all.
