Hi! I know I haven't updated this in a few weeks, so I thought I would let you guys know what's going on. I'm still here and reading and commenting, I've just been dealing with things, and depression means a lot of things like this kind of slip my mind. My brain's been all over the place so this probably won't be the most coherent entry either ( Read more... )

It's really nice to hear you're feeling a bit better. Just hope you can get some solid sleep!

Good luck with your interview today :)

It sounds like things are starting to look up for you, I'm glad! I want you to know I was thinking about you in the time that you didn't post, wondering how you were doing. It seems like you're taking some steps in the right direction, and I think things will keep improving as you start working. Hopefully the insomnia won't be a lasting thing either, it would be a huge annoyance, I'm sure.

I'm proud of you, Char... You have been so strong through all of this, I don't know how I would cope in your position. I admire your courage and your ability to keep on keeping on. I really do hope things looking up for you, you deserve it! Keep doing what you're doing, you're on the right track, and we're all rooting for you! :) <3

So, so glad to hear things are looking up :) I don't normally dish out ideas on medication but if you're still having trouble with sleeping maybe mention Seroquel to your doctor, i take 12.5mg a night and it has been incredible and also works with the anti-depressant i'm on.

Hope the interview went well!

thank you for this cat! ♥ i'm on temazepam though i still haven't tried a full pill of it yet (it has a big warning on the bottle saying drowsiness can continue the next day, so I didn't want to try it the night before uni). Part of it is that I've been randomly forgetting to take my Prozac at lunchtime (which is when I usually take it) so I wind up taking it too late in the day, and I think another part of it is I've only been on it for a month. I'm hoping in a week or two it will settle down and I'll be able to get some sleep.

Oh and I also wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS ON GRADUATING! It's still really weird to me to see you as an adult (with a boyfriend now, I'm assuming from some of your tumblr posts) because in my head you're still our little Kitty Cat in your first year of high school! And you always will be really, to me anyway lol.

You should try taking the Prozac first thing maybe? I know my Mum was taking her anti-d for a long time late in the day and when she switched to taking it first thing it helped quite a bit! Anyway, hope the sleep has gotten a bit better.

Thank youu! Ha, yes looking back at my 12 year old self is slightly embarrassing but i'm totally all grown up :D I do have a lovely boyfriend which was quite unexpected when it all first happened but it's good! In fact, he's heading over to Melbourne in mid December for a med interview at Monash!
