"wow, you couldn't make this stuff up!" "*you* couldn't."

Thought I'd make a post that for once isn't entirely about my psychological problems. (I will say a word on that, though: I printed out my last entry and took it along to my session, and it wound up going really well). I've been pretty up and down and still not leaving the house much, but I'm just trying to look forward to the three-day bonanza ( Read more... )

Ahh. No comments is really depressing. D:

Um. IDK what to ask. :-/

Emma Watson is in your icon though so...tell me your thoughts on Harry Potter. I don't really care what though. Just whatever comes to mind. :P

Aww it's nice of you to comment even if you didn't know what to ask ♥

I'm not actually a huge fan of Harry Potter - I liked the first three books becaue I was of the target age for them, but I got bored halfway through Goblet of Fire and gave up. But my two RL friends are insane HP fans and thus I've seen all the movies and went to the last two book launches. I'm just not big on fantasy and even as a kid I wasn't, so I don't actually like the books that much. But I do lovethat Emma has grown up gracefully and is doing the whole fashion thing now. I have a little version of one of her Burberry Prorsum ads with her brother up on my wall right now.

I'm glad the printing idea went well because I wasn't sure how it would go, I'm really glad though I should have done it when I was seeing someone.

This isn't really what the meme asked, but something I was thinking yesterday. Are you up to date on HIMYM? We haven't talked about it in ages and I want your comments on season 5. If you're not up to date, get on it!

The printing idea was actually really good because before that, I'd had two sessions and it felt like nothing was actually getting done. Particularly in the second one, all we did was organize my uni forms and do some breathing exercises which would have been fine except it kept weighing on me that my mother was paying $60 a sessions for that, and it didn't feel like much. So the entry, I think, highlighted to her that I've been feeling more sad than anxious lately and she had me talk about my family which felt more worth my time than exercises and stuff. (And the line in there about my mum not really being able to afford it, I completely forgot about that, but she wound up giving me the concession rate for my sessions from now on which knocks $20 off the price :p So after Medicare's rebate, mum will only be paying $40 instead of $60, which is great ( ... )

I always felt that way in sessions, just constantly thinking how my parents are paying $150 a session and it's probably a waste. But in hindsight I see how much it was worth it so just try not to think about that and hopefully when you look back you'll feel the same.

I don't see why anyone would think it's gone downhill other than hardcore Barney/Robin shippers who feel jipped. I was a shipper of them but I got over it because when you think about it in real life you just know it wouldn't have worked out. I'm also like 90% sure the writers will have them together in the end so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

BUT forgetting about Barney and Robin, the show in general is still as awesome as ever. The only thing is I'm getting a bit annoyed with Ted's character I'm not even sure why. But they are getting much closer to the mother and Lily and Marshall are still awesome and their story is progressing nicely. The season finale was only last week so you have plenty of time now to catch up if you want to.

Ahem ... stealing my meme without leaving me a question. This means I am either the most boring person alive or my entire life is already on LJ.

Umm ... if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? With whom would you live? Why?

I'M SORRY! I really didn't know what to ask, because I'm a massive meme-stealing dork, apparently. Promise to comment when I figure something out ( ... )

... lol. I am just boring, obviously. It's okay; I know it already.

No, I totally get it. And it's lovely that you want to spend time with your family. It's just my sister and I, so I envy you that.

what do you think of the idea of us online friends from the CU days meeting up?

personally, I think it would be nice but also has the potential to be very awkward as we're all rather quiet people and it'd be a bit like "ohhai! we've spoken online for years but nao iono what to say to ur face, lolololo'

LOL i would actually be for it, even if we all don't say much. i briefly met rina at the tennis earlier in the year and that was pretty fine, and i'm planning to try and hang out with her more once I go back to uni because she goes there too. I think once you get the first meeting out of the way it's less awkward. And for god's sake, it's about time some of us met :p Though preferably when we're all kind of living in the same area again. You, me, Steph and Rina could certainly make a day of it.

definitely, it would be good to see each other face to face one day :D even if it was just like a coffee date or something.

I hope you're going alright, good to hear that the print-out thing worked for you. (: I'm off to bed, niiiighttt!!! xo

I hope you have a fantastic time this weekend!! :D

Hmm random question, what is your favorite time of year? either weather wise or in general?

Aww, thank you!

Ooh, um. I actually prefer winter to summer most of the time - we had some really horrible fires in my state last year along with some INSANE weather, including one 47C/116F day. So weather wise, I love winter, since it's warm and cozy and good writing weather. But as for time of the year, you can't fault Christmas as far as I'm concerned. It would be cool if our Christmases were actually IN winter but of course they aren't :p I've never experienced a white Christmas or a cold Christmas, and I'm dyyying to.
