Huh, that's so neat about the yuletide fics. I always wonder a bit about RPF. I have wrote it, so anything negative I say will be hypocrisy, but sometimes I dislike it. I agree with that person when they said that once a fandom has gotten too big and disqualified (ie, Merlin) the fans will just write RPF next year until that (hopefully) gets too big and disqualified. It happened with The Office, Gossip Girl and probably countless other fandoms. For me, yuletide is about showering the small and forgotten fandoms with love. The ones that only have about 5 people that know the source material. *shrug*

I hope that the fires have stopped and that towns are safe. It's a terrible thing that's happening there. You are in my thoughts.

Main thing I want to comment on in this post is THANK GOD they are ditching Idol. Now they just need to make it permanent. I seriously loved that show and it's becoming a joke. Let it die with dignity.

this just reminds me of us back in 2004 in our CU terrorizing the 50k thread in the courtyard, and how you were the only underage mod of the ~R rated~ section and makes me wonder what the hell happened to Deanna and the two Meggies and so on and so forth! AND REMEMBER THAT DUDE NAMED ANTHONY I THINK WE LIKED HIM ONCE IDK

LMAO!! I know yeh I'm starting to remember that guy now.. Seriously though, we have this big patio area in our new house and no outdoor setting, so my mum is using my huge block mounted A-Callea poster on a box as a makeshift coffee table.

I am seriously curious about what happened to those guys. Especially Deanna, I'd be interested to see how things turned out for her.

Oh Char I have so much to update on my journal, like 5 months worth. I don't know how to even start! I actually went on a date tonight :| And it's really sad that I have no one to talk to about it except my mum.

wait no im not. baghdatis is covered in cyprus, im all for patriotism, especially if its cyprus...which is also my background...but LOL its EVERYWHERE! and does that mean he doesnt have a clothing sponsor now? or are the greek ladies sewing his clothing too?
