As I was driving home, I had a realization, it just dawned on me, it was so quick that it took my breath away, and for the first time ever im really happy that I am leaving in a month and a couple of weeks. I think you would be suprised how proud your mom is of you. You are very strong willed and have a good head on your sholders. You know what you want out of life and what you expect out of people and you let it known. Even when you are with your family. And especially now that you are going to college. I am sure your mom is bragging to all your family about how you are going away to college and she is going to miss you so much.
I think going away will be good for you. Just make sure you get that on campus housing!
