Today, while I was having lunch, Taesake SMSed me and said, "Hey you coming to CSC? Someone wants to buy the Shinku kit for $50!"
And I was all, "WTF?" That's MY Shinku!

But all is well, except I don't know why my mom doesn't talk to me nicely anymore. Yesterday the moment I stepped into the house, she screamed at me and left me baffled. This morning

Hmm... that does sound actually rather serious. Ever thought of reporting it to the police? Because.... well.
Have you tried talking to your dad about it?

My dad knows everything. He never speaks to my mom anymore, they are never on good terms ever since an incident 10 years ago. (In fact, he hates her so much he wishes she would just leave on her own accord)

I've got no evidence that my mom did all these anymore because it was a long time ago. And no one to testify for me... so no.

Sigh. I jut wish I would finish my course at the art school soon (2 more years >_>), start to work or intern, and then go out to live on my own.

I am so sorry to hear of this, I chanced upon ur post on SD_SG frens page. I talked to you b4 on Katoots forum but I am not sure if u recall ^^

Anyway, I can empathise the beatings and all, I used to hate my mom so much too that I thot I would grow up to be bitter towards now. But as I got older, I seem to be more forgiving and less bitter. All seems to be well now, but sometimes, I just refuse to see eye to eye with her. And I agree, I never want to become the kind of mother my mum is or the kind of person my parents are. At least you have your dad, for me, I am all on my own cos nobody sides me at all!

I guess I will never be more forgiving as the day passes so long as she treats my brother and I differently. I can never understand why her treatment towards us differ by so much.

If that's true then your mom is downright unmotherly...but since your mom hate children so much.What about your brother? Because he's a boy? =/

I don't know. How would I know? My brother never received such treatment from her. She talks to him in a very nice manner. I've never heard her talking to me like that.
