the flu vaccine only safe guards you against three of the known strands and there are thousands. they are the three projected to be "popular" this year. BS alert is going off..!

I need to do some major reading up on vaccines. I'm still not as well informed as I'd like to be. Good resources?

I'm kidding. People that freak out about flu shots are batshit loco insane. But my joke does remind me that I can't remember the last time I had a tetanus shot.

hahaha... I understand. I've only ever had one tetanus shot, and it was in 9th grade when my family moved because for some odd reason there were random rusty staples/nails/screws sticking out of EVERYTHING and my mom flipped out. This was a big deal considering I am not vaccinated in any way for anything else.

The last time I got a flu shot I got sick from the shot itself. So now I don't care. I dare the fates to slap me with their meanest strain of the flu. I will win. I am a survivor.

You'd better watch it missy, I'm not sure if you've heard or not... but there's this bird flu... stay AWAY from the birds. The Turkish government should kill THEM ALL.

I think that everyone understands your situation is not exactly normal... speaking of which, I'm glad you kicked the cancer ass again, that was really scary.

thanks, it TOTALLY sucked ass -- but at least this time around i knew something wasn't right and went in and we caught it early enough to prevent me from going through years of fucking hell again...

my mom got the shot too -- but she works in a hospital...actually, she was ORDERED to (she really didn't want to get it)...if she didn't get it, she would have been suspended w/o pay until she received it...
