* Stuff from Tumblr, because I continually fail at realizing I'm not supposed to post in-depth anything there:

The practical magic of food safety and also condiments. I've been prattling on about food and food safety and 'best by/use by' dates a fair bit over there. I don't think I'm saying anything profound, but I also occasionally underestimate ( Read more... )

You totally summed up my problems with the MCU. The only thing I'd add is that I think Evans is the one responsible for Steve's charaterization and ending in Endgame, which flew in the face of everything that had come before. Otherwise I think you nailed it.

All of the actors had a bit of leeway with their characters, more as it grew. But while ScarJo got to pick out her wigs, she didn't have a say in her arc to a big degree. Evans had wildly different characterizations to work with and it's to all of our dismay that he went with Age of Ultron's instead of Winter Soldier's, the latter of which actually got used more because they got rid of Whedon. (The return-to-Peggy thing was the writers' ham-handed way of closing off Evans's participation and keeping him out of future productions. Evans might have signed off on it, but they made that mess.) But RDJ was the one to actually re-write scenes to benefit his character. The original Steve-Tony confrontation in Endgame when Carol gets him (and Nebula) back to Earth, where Tony unloads on Steve for betraying him and letting him down and being the reason everything is like this and Steve comes out the bad guy? That was written as Tony apologizing and saying Steve was right. The Russos talk about it in interviews.

Gotta agree with you. I will watch and re watch Winter Soldier and Captain America... the others, not so much.

I may have blinked and missed it, but have you ever written in depth about Carol Danvers?

https://archiveofourown.org/works/18350036 is my only Captain Marvel story based on the movie and it's about Monica Rambeau, so... not really. I did do the spec thing on Carol back after they announced that there would be a movie but before they cast Larson.

I don't usually post comments, but I recently got back into SGA fanfic (COVID-19 quarantine has made us all stir crazy, am I right?) and have spent the last week picking through your fics. I am not new to the fanfic world but somehow never read any of your stuff in the past and now I am loving it! It's such an interesting take on how SGA could've (should've?) gone. So refreshing to read some good fanfic (and with Lorne cuz he's my fav!), and I am now one of those really invested in the ending of QH so you better finish it!

Also, I am so sad that your website is gone and all the links are broken. There are a couple stories that only link there and so I can't read them. ☹️ Any chance of putting your entire SGA library somewhere?

Between here and AO3 ( https://archiveofourown.org/users/domarzione ), almost everything should exist somewhere? I know there are gaps. I also know that I have literally hundreds of files from my website saved on my computer that I need to batch-upload to AO3 and haven't because the sheer amount of work is exhausting to think about. I should ask for help from them, but it seems so trivial...

Also, a very belated thank you! I very much appreciate both new readers and you taking the time to write in. :)

Loved Qui as was, but can’t wait to see what happens in the revised version. The only thing I miss are the pictures, particularly the story about Yoni and Nancy getting together that had some great illustrations.

I have looked through a lot of your comments, etc., for years just in case I missed a good short story now and then. Not that I’m obsessed at all ;)
