Alarming developments but I cracked up at "“At great risk of capsizing at an inopportune time?”

Thor mostly shows up to be a fish out of water and hit things, I'm afraid. He is wise, but not often in dialogue. :)

Hey, it's not like he's tried the beer.

Gah---I love all the little tiny moments tucked into the sweeping action: Clint's joke (and Thor's proposed punchline), Tony giving Pepper's disapproval as a reason to not try fixing Steve's armor in the field, Thor's uneasiness with "flying machines" (helicopers in particular, I suspect), Bruce eating all the edible MREs., and the lovely little bit with Tony and Steve at the end.

Of course, the battle for Manhattan was pretty impressive and exciting to read.

Wow -- I finally caught up with this, and am really enjoying it. And I thought it was all building slowly until all of a sudden in this section HYDRA blows up lower Manhattan, and London and Tokyo too.

As everyone says, the little character details (and New York) are what really makes this. Well, that and the enormous plot.

This section also blew up my outline a little, but it, like Lower Manhattan, will recover.

Very glad you're reading along. Even more so that you're enjoying.
