drabble request: Displaced

angelofmercy wanted Team Lorne temporarily on Earth, to which my response was that that was Prodigal. She said okay, more Team Lorne on Earth. This is technically in the Prodigal universe, but only if you squint because I can't do anything without a logical pretext.

I really like that Suarez is more assertive and Yoni is boisterous with his family. I can see Ortilla being a total New Yorker but it's still funny and I've fallen a little more in love with Reletti who could apparently, give Sheppard a run for head of the 'didn't see it coming' club. I wonder if 'flakiness' is a by product of the strength of a naturally occurring ATA gene? Oh wouldn't the heads of the SGC and IOA love to hear that? (Although anyone who knows O'Neill may already suspect as much). Lorne and his team, what sweeties.

Carson never really struck me as flaky, so... :)

Reletti's a bit of a return to form; he started out as the team flake and I got away from that a bit.

This is fascinating! I think the difference I find most interesting and unexpected is Yoni's behaviour with his family (and now I'm also wondering what he's doing so far away from them).

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, a bit. But ultimately, it's why he's done with the Stargate Program once the team breaks up. He leaves Atlantis to go home.

Still absorbing the delightfulness of this look at Lorne's team. I wonder, now that they've seen each other in this light, will it change how they behave/interact back on Atlantis or is it situational? The latter, I think. Much love for all of them and their quirky ways of relating to each other and whatever natives -- including Earthers -- they happen to be around.

The lasting effects will mostly be that they have more to give each other crap about. Lorne's still at a remove from the marines; it's not a surprise to them that Reletti's still a flake or Ortilla's very New York. :)

Thanks.

I just can't get enough of your team Lorne. Thanks for the insight.
