I always thought my Dad looked soooo handsome in his formal wear (Navy), but I have had a secret love of the Marine Corps formal attire my entire life. Yeah, it can get a bit gaudy the longer someone's been in the service and depending on how heavily decorated they are, but they always manage to carry if off.

I have to say, though, the Admiral looks like he's wearing pleated trousers. How odd.

I mock (but not General Mattis, whom I fangirl in possibly inappropriate ways for a civilian), but the Marines are the best dressed service of any nation.

Mullen's trousers look odd, I'll grant you that. Maybe pleats, maybe jodhpurs, but they are definitely caught at an odd angle.
