Dang - I kinda wish Abby was around for Lorne's glowy-eye moment.
Enjoying this so much. (And this really makes me wish Hollis was still on the show).

I think Abby would've just done a double-take and asked Ziva if she'd seen that. And Ziva would've said it was a trick of the light.

Thank you. :)

Thanks. Now if I can only wrap this up in a suitable style...

I am having to carefully restrain myself to keep from flailing my arms in frustration. Geez, there is a reason I don't read WIPs until they're finished! Eagerly awaiting the next episode.

Aaaahhhh. Every time I think things might be possibly drawing to a close, you ratchet things up a notch.

I hopefully am one part shy of done, so does that qualify as drawing to a close? :)

Thanks.

Yes--and now I'm torn between being excited about finding out (maybe) what exactly had been going on and being sad that it'll be over.

Which is a sign of good storytelling, I think.

It feels like everything is starting to come together and then hopefully the boys will never see Gibbs and his team again...except for in the sequel, right? ;p

And I'm sure Lorne will have to do something to save Sheppard or something else will come up soon enough that he and his team will be back out of the doghouse.

Can't wait to see what happens next :)

Just a few more thoughts that didn't occur to me on the first read through - It doesn't seem like Lorne's team trusts his buddy - how much do they know? Is his buddy prone to wondering around like O'Neill's buddy was? Also, what would Ducky think about Lorne?

The advantage of sticking to one POV is that a lot gets left for speculation until afterward. ;)
