A meme. Because it's Friday afternoon and I haven't written anything useful in a couple of weeks. And an old one, since the current one is too close to one I've done recently.
If you could have me write anything, my fandom or not, my pairing or not, what would it be?
... I'm not saying I will. But you never know. I've pulled story ideas out of ( Read more... )

What, general lieutenant fic? Surely that's not what you really want... ;)

Can I offer you this instead?

1st... I recently discovered your SGA fan-fiction and have been devouring your writing at an unhealthy rate (according to my husband, but what does he know). You manage to give your original characters more depth than the actual show could produce for the main characters, and I LOVE your take on Sheppard, Lorne and the military on Atlantis!

That being said, I always wanted to know the reaction of "Little Tripoli" to the happenings during The Jenny Code. Particularly from the point of view of your amazing original characters.

Many thanks for the kind words. I have a fabulously neurotic fear of being 'the OC writer', and yet... I like my OCs and I'm always thrilled when other people do, too.

Okay, not your writerly fandom but if you know the series, I've always wanted to read a crossover between Monk and House. You could toss Rodney in for good measure and have the Marines witness. Yes, I am a fan of your OCs too. :-)

SG-1 was better at doing "military" stuff than Atlantis, but still had many problems. I'd love to see you take Walter or Siler or someone like that at the SGC and do some "slice of life" stuff. That, or what orientation's like for new people coming in to the regular SGC.

The SNCO view of the SGC might be fun. Apart from poor Siler, it's really the officers who take the brunt of the damage...

Oh yay another meme.

I would love to see a story involving Yoni and Sheppard primarily. I think Yoni is wonderfully complex and shares many things under the surface with Sheppard (they have alot in common as soldiers, they just present different faces to the world). Maybe they get into trouble and have to rely on each other to get out of it, maybe they find things out about each other that they didn't know or only guessed at...I can't articulate it very well, but hopefully you get the gist...
