The fireworks have been really pissing me off to be honest. I don't mind organised displays with people who have been trained in firework safety and so on. I absolutely loathe people using them in their own back gardens - especially in an area like this where back gardens are the size of a postage stamp! It's so dangerous. And then, when you add in the pets it's just a complete nightmare. Nyssa and Zara have both flipped a couple of times. Ajali has refused to come in because he's too scared to move. And then there's the bunnies.

*More hugs* over your uncle. There's not really much more I can say about that. :(

I agree, I think organised displays are the way forward or you should have to prove that you're using them at some sort of event where you'll be in a large space. The amount of people who don't use fireworks properly is terrible. I know in Northern Ireland they were (and possibly still are) banned unless at organised events. We set them off in our garden once or twice over the 30 years my family has lived here, but not much more than that. I wish more people considered the animal implication, but the sad fact is some people just care about themselves.

Thank you. That's enough, there's not a lot anyone can say.
