Pay It Forward 2012

Jan 07, 2012 12:05

I did this last year and it was LOTS of fun, even though I only really made something for one person (I sewed them a phone pouch), I did, in the end, make things for three other people too (Christmas stockings) that were unconnected to this. So...

No need to make me anything, I just wanted to comment to say I hadn't seen this before and what a lovely idea. I will certainly be re-posting later :D x

Awesome!!! :D Glad to have people wanting to do this/receive things. I think it's such a great idea, just as long as people actually pay it forwards, so very glad you are doing. :D

I wasn't going to comment at first, because the reciprocal part worried me- I'm awful at arts&crafts (so much respect for people who can manage it, omg), but then I noticed that asterisk which mentioned making graphics was okay, too, and that I can def manage. ^_^

Is this a new thing? I hadn't seen it before. I hope it spreads all around lj, that'd be cool!

Well, generally it's a 'handmade' thing but I think with the online world we have there that graphics would be perfectly acceptable as not everyone is comfortable sharing their address. :) But no reason they can't still participate. :D

And me too! It went around on Facebook last year (first time I'd seen it!) and someone posted it on my Twitter this morning and on their Facebook too. I thought I'd bring it to LJ, hehe.

Comment! However if it is a physical item, is it cool if I hold off until later in the year when I'm at college? Wouldn't want stuff sent to my home address, lol.
Also, not home atm, so don't let me forget to repost this. xD

When will you be at home? :P Don't forget to repost it!

And that's fine with me, when is later in the year...are we talking a couple of months or like August/September? Just checking so I can decide what to do.

Reposting right after I catch up on comment replies, thanks. :)

And I should be heading off to college end of August, so yea, around August/September. :3

Awesome! :D Will have to make sure I don't forget, I'm usually pretty good at not doing, I say usually...I forgot 4 birthdays in a row this year, oops.
