oh such a neat little interpretation of the prompt. Hopeful and heartbreaking in equal measures.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. :P I was trying to go for that, like a mixture of this is what he's been through and this is what being with her does to him, in whatever capacity.

Oh that sums it up nicely! I like that you mentioned that he's a little scared of her. Because I think he is too, though he'd never admit it. (I have always always loved the fact that little Robin Tunney plays the muscle who everyone is a bit afraid of)

Thanks! Haha, yes, she really is rather amazing that she's all tiny and frightening...I mean come on, Rigsby could pick her up and throw her anywhere he wanted, and yet he doesn't because he respects her/is probably also a little frightened. :P

This was so worth me writing a prompt. It is so true to his feelings about how they are connected and feels so real to the show.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :D I hadn't thought too much about that connection until I wrote this, so it was enjoyable to think further about the two of them.

>i>Sometimes it felt like he was drowning. Then he would go into her office and lie on her couch, anything to annoy her, because it reminded him just how much he wasn’t alone. Not really.

I think this paragraph really sums up the relationship between Jane and Lisbon. He needs her - even needs her anger to feel alive.
A nice read indeed.
