Allo :o) Updating is still rare, sorry. Let´s see what we can do about it. It´s been a busy couple of months. At the end of January I went with work to NYC. And here be the proof:
Aw, I forgot you live there now. Bummer :o( Our hotel was in Midtown. I think the Broadway/Central park area is fairly pretty, but out hotel was in Midtown, and... hmm, I pretty much hate the rest of the town. Guess I´m too European ;o)
So exciting!! I'm surprised there wasn't pounds of snow everywhere. Did this happen before everyone got pounded with storms? (I don't know when Super Bowl Sunday was.)
Well this was the last weekend of January, or rather the first weekend of February. I´m not sure if there had been snow and it had all disappeared again. The temp was pretty freezing the first couple of days but then it actually got rather spring-like.
How did I miss this post???? It's always nice to see you posting here. :)
Looks like you had a fab time in New York. I've only been there once and it was only for a few hours (we missed our connecting flight so the airline put us in a hotel for the night) but I guess we never really got to do any of the big things and if I'm honest I was kinda scared by all the hustle and bustle! You took some great pictures of the all the famous landmarks though and that is the biggest slice of cheesecake I've ever seen! Also that NY squirrel looks suspiciously like the one that is always in our garden stealing peanuts from my mum's bird feeders. :P
Hope you and the lovely Murre are well. Take care & speak soon Maia. ♥

I love living here - but I stay far away from midtown and touristy areas unless I'm seeing a show!

The trip was interesting, I´m not very fond of NYC to be honest. But it was a company trip, so not my choice of destination.
All´s well here, I hope you are too! :o)
