Thanks for the kind comments on my last post! *hugs flist* You have no idea how much they warmed my heart.
There's a sort of meme going around, where people list the Snape pairings they've written. Now, I'm not interested in the most popular Snape ships, and I have no trouble believing that the Snape we meet in canon has never been in a relationship

It does indeed make sense, and I say this as someone who enjoys writing Snape into people's beds.
I'm with you on enjoying Snape/McG (obviously) and Moody, Sluggie, and Filch (I'm a sucker for Snape/Flitwick, too). But I honestly don't think I've ever seen him with Fleur. And how I missed your Snape/Grindelwald, I can't imagine; I'll rectify this grave oversight. As for your possibly-interesting pairings, I'm pretty sure there was a Snape/Firenze in one of earlier Beholder fests.
Dudley Redeemed! I seriously considered this, until finally the words "five fests already" managed to beat themselves sufficiently painfully into my brain. But there are all sorts of great prompts at the Dudley fest, and I'll look forward to reading the resulting fics.

I only have the Femslash Day challenge (low-pressure), the Minerva Fest (deadline months away), and the Femgenficathon (oops) on my plate apart from this one... Oh wait, I signed up for 19thc_exchange too. *looks sheepish* At least it's not an exchange, despite its name.

there's no way in hell that they'd ever have a normal/healthy/loving relationship.
That much we can agree on. *g* I'll admit that requited Snupin does little for me except -- no offense meant -- creep me out, but I do like the idea of Snape being obsessed with Lupin, and hating himself for it.

I do like the idea of Snape/Peter though!
