When I first heard the title, I thought you were inspired by the song "Dirty Talk" by Wynter Gordon. The lyrics actually start out with "I am no Angel", and then go on from there.

I've never heard that song. I'll have to look it up. :) When I first came up with the idea, I had no idea what I was going to call it. Then I remembered that most versions of Beauty and the Beast include the Beast asking the Beauty to marry him every night. I was thinking, what reason would Cas have to say no if he was in love with Dean. I happen to own a manga called Tenshi Ja Nai, which means "I Am No Angel" and somehow, that became both Cas's thrice used catch phrase and the title of the fic.

Heh, sorry for the long-winded explanation. I'm glad you liked the fic. Oh, and Gabriel. He's one of my favorites to write. He and Dean. I love Dean. *sigh* :D
