- JIN IS GETTING A SECOND SEASON. This was probably the worst information I could have read just before going to bed, as I got stupidly excited and couldn't fall asleep for even longer than usual. And it's not even that big of a surprise - with those ratings and that stupid ending it was bound to happen sooner or later - but I'm just SO GLAD to ( Read more... )

It's much more watchable in chunks than on episode-a-week basis, I have to say - not only because of the cliffhangers, but also because of the storytelling which is definitely not on the "one-shot" side.

You knew when to break down, now that season three is starting in less than a week ;D

Eric is quite pretty when his hair is done the right way and when he's not wearing a tracksuit xD

The timing was sneakily planned but don't tell anyone!

I definitely enjoy the hell out of it, but the show itself is quite flawed - I find myself fast-forwarding through a lot. It's okay when you have a lot to watch in one go, but I guess I might have some problems when there are only 50 minutes of the show a week and I feel obliged to watch them all. (Then again, I might be quite busy in the upcoming weeks, so I may end up having to marathon the middle of the season anyway XD)

Well, I don't support most of the ideas the wardrobe department has for him. Like, you know, wearing any clothes at all.

I think I was mostly annoyed that it wasn't even bad writing, but more of a blatant set-up for the second season: "Oops, we should probably explain some stuff, but our ratings are so good and we can probably get a sequel, so stop writing, STOP WRITING NOW."

Why is April 2011 so far awaaaaay

JIN! I am so excited for the second season! I did love the way the first season ended but the prospect of more Jin fills me only with JOY. YAY!

HURRAY FOR MORE JIN! (It makes one sequel with Ayase Haruka I'm excited for ;D)

What was your ship in JIN by the way? Saki's awesome and I like Jin/Saki, but the glee I feel at the thought of more Jin/Miki/Nokaze is hard to describe lol XD

My shipping situation is complicated... what it boils down to is whatever they do, if they do it right (and I trust them to do it right), I will like it. I have urges both ways. They are so strong that they ALMOST balance each other out. It's possible I lean a smidge further toward Jin/Miki/Nokaze. : )

(And, another point of congenial disagreement, I can't wait for Hotaru no Hikari 2. <3)

I had an instant hardcore shipping reaction for J/M/N the moment we were introduced to comatose Miki, I'm still amazed at how strongly I feel about it XD

(It's quite funny, because even though I'm not excited for HnH2, I'm sure it's gonna be cute and once it's finished I'm probably gonna have a nice weekend marathon of it :D However, with JIN, I would be literally marking my calendar and counting down days if I had a premiere date and a 2011 calendar XD)
