Gorgeous! So bright and lovely. I would be one of the weird people staring (and smiling!) at you out in public and wanting to ask you about it *Lolol* ^-^
Hehehe, I genuinely don't mind when people stop me or ask questions - even when they touch me, I'm more just amused that people legit FORGET that it is my SKIN and it has FEELING XDDD People also ask to take pics of my Ghibli sleeve and that's always just fun!
That's most people's reactions too (other people with tattoos). It seems like wayyy too much energy to get worked up about, for ME personally but I completely understand people who do not wish to be touched. In 2021 I am fascinated at people's obvious ignorance about consent.
Hello! Thanks for popping by :D I'm always open to new LJ friends ^_^
Thank you! I've been working on this piece since the spring as a memorial for my brother, who died unexpectedly last year. It's based on Boo-ya Moon, an alternate sort of universe in a Stephen King novel :) I LOVE my artist's imagining of the place (he's also a friend of mine separate of tattooing). It's sooo good.
Thanks <3 And no worries - the book is, in my opinion, the best one he's ever written and it is lighter on true horror elements and more focused on like, general human darkness (abusive/traumatizing childhood, stalking, violence). SK is definitely not for everyone! And yes, I do love the depth of meaning in the tattoo :D I would say most of my other tattoos are just for fun/things that are meaningful to me in a different way (half of my tattoos are like, cartoons or anime-themed)
