Have you ever heard of that story Alice in Wonderland? I think there have been a couple movie versions, both of which I haven’t seen, but I know the story well enough to make a comparison. A girl happens upon a drug-induced land and all she wants is to go home to normalcy. No drinking anything to change her size, no eating things shaped like hearts.
I’m not saying I’m a female by any means. I’ll prove it to you if you doubt me, but my story fits in a little too well with Alice’s.
Kyon in Wonderland.
I have guides through this trippy land, and when I reach the end, I get to the Red Queen who wants to cut my head off. She’d probably dance around a fire with it in glee. I don’t need to tell you who that is. I don’t need to tell you, either, who the Mad Hatter is, or the White Rabbit, or… whatever Asahina-san would be-she can borrow the blue and white dress, but… it’s hard to think of my life in any other way.
I want to go home, but this damned Queen wants my head on a platter. I don’t know why I’m here or what she wants with me. I’m the only person that doesn’t fit into this story. I can’t fight the Queen in any way, for in this world, she’s more than a Queen.
I just want to go home.
