Sounds like a defense mechanism to me. Excuse my overanalytical-nature, but perhaps Naruto-kun was merely trying to take the attention off of the fact that he spent the night with Sasuke in the presence of foreign company. Did you really expect him to be friendly towards the Uchiha in front a girl and the older brother of the boy he had previously slept with?

Though, it is possible I give him far too much credit.
