Book review of 2009

Back on the blog just to post my new year's review of books read in 2009. It's a little bit shorter that the list from 2008 - only 100 (compared to 103) books. But I did have a higher number of ones that I couldn't be bothered to finish.

I've been looking for book recommendations, so seeing your comments on everything you've read for a year is quite nice because there are some authors on it that I haven't heard of, and it's always useful to know what to steer clear of as well.

There's another Peter Hoeg book sitting on my shelf which I liked but am unlikely to re-read, so I'm happy to pass it on if you want it.

Just for your info if you were looking for it, The Hakawati has been renamed 'The Storyteller' for the UK paperback edition, wwhich confused me a lot when searching for it online.
