Yes, yes, amiga. Fine writing, no explanation of what happened there could be better. Take it further with your photos and encounters, I hope.
I too dream of moving to the country and growing stuff. Even planted tomatoes for the first time since I moved here. Many friends are doing the same. Maybe, like the gardeners in the park, we're all preparing for the next stage in the collapse of civilization.

Brilliantly written as always.

It's now one week later and unmarked government vans are abducting protesters from the streets of Portland and taking them to random places for secret interrogation and the Trump administration is no longer even bothering to hide their agenda.

"How much more dystopian can it get" indeed.

They make their moves, we respond, the future is uncertain.

The only good thing is that the Pinochet’ing of PDX is at least making the news? After the revolution in Iran, people would disappear and it wouldn’t make a blip on the radar. (Maybe more terrifying is that it makes the news and doesn’t matter though.)

I don’t know what’s next except that the election will be an unprecedented shit-show. And, no, I’m not getting used to this.
