I think we would all want to have the courage of those firefighters, as well as the bystanders who rushed in, at that time.
Indeed. I often ask myself, when I see stories like this, what would I do? Would I behave the way I'd like to believe I would behave?
The story of heroism that stands out most, and makes me ask the most questions about myself, was the story of Liviu Lebrescu, the professor who died saving his students during the Virginia Tech shoot-out.
