I don't think either party actually thought that what they did was "okay" - because that would've meant they had to think about what they were doing. I'd bet good money that they're the type who've been soaking in privilege so long they aren't even conscious of any potential damage they cause.

Yeah... I might do that. The professor wasn't there today (she doesn't come to class on screening days, since there's no lecture on those days) but she's really open-minded (she's actually done a lot of women studies work) and I think she'd understand why I felt the way I did.
