Just came across this today and have to say wow! I absolutely loved it. Beautifully written, and a wonderful adaption of the events in the first season . I particularly enjoyed the way you used Dean's condition to show the complexity of the Winchester family relationships. My favourite moment was Dean telling Sam he was his pack.

I readi one of your Dark Angel fics and then checked your profile which oh so naturally lead to your Supernatural stuff and your LJ account on your profile. ai'm planning to wrk my way through the Stargate stuff at some point when work/life/study os less insane
I have to confess I have just finished your novel too - ShineGold - so I 've been on a bit of a binge, reading is my vice and an excellent means of procrastination . I loved the story, it was completely engaging and entirely fresh and interesting. Is there any chance of a follow-up or something new in the same universe? The ending while very satisfying left me with soooo many questions. :D
Sorry not to have reciewed the DA fic but at the time I assumed you where one of the many no longer writing. When I find the time I will try and go back and do so.
What a tangled web we weave... quit a trip from A to Z, but glad you made it! I have a few good SPN fics (a lot of crap ones, too, but a few I would call successes). I had some Stargate home runs, too (also, lots of disasters... I could tell you which is which if you like ;)

You're not the first person to ask about a sequel or more stories set in that universe, just because there was so much stuff that I couldn't get to (could you imagine how long it would have been if I did?!), but right now I don't have any inspiration. Though honestly, if I could find some, I'd love to go back there (and yes, I write like they are actually places I visit, because for the time that I'm writing them, they're real to me and I miss ShineGold)

But today I wanted - and now huh, this part's not so much about the girl (though she's clearly important) but about Sam'n Dean and John. Yay! Is it weird that when you look for het, you stumble on something I'd define as gen but when you look for gen, you so rarely get gems like this? I think it is
Anyway, I loved this story. I love wolf-Dean. And I LOVE your writing. That's always the one thing that makes me give up or continue: the writer's skill. I'll definitely check your other parts for this.
I think it says good things about what I was trying to do with this fic that people classify this an 'epic Dean/OFC fic', even though from the very first chapter the OFC love interest is dead and has been for years. Even though she was gone, Skye's influence and importance to Dean's life was meant to be very tangible - in my mind, that link is the only way Dean would embrace and love becoming something he would normally hunt.
Glad you liked the fic! And I'm with you on loving wolf!Dean... pretty much the reason this one fic turned into a verse. Though I'll let you know right now some of the other fics in this verse do actually have Skye in them ;)
This was such a great fic! I'm really glad you didn't say what the secret was before, too, because I think I might not have given this amazing fic a chance. (I'm not a fan of werewolf stories, really, but this one was so good.) I did figure it was some kind of wolf thing since it was happening monthly, but I didn't expect the lycan rather than werewolf thing. But I think you wrote the difference really well. And oh my gosh, the emotion that came through the first time Sam saw him change and when John found out...I thought I was gonna pass out from the angst, especially the second one. On that same thought, that climax scene with the demon fighting the wolf inside of Dean was so crazy! I was freaking out so much and I'm so glad Sam got there in time.
So yeah, basically I really enjoyed this and now I'm going to go read the rest of this series because I loved this so much.
