Oh, this is just brilliant.

Feel the sarcasm.

I've been fine all year. A few minor tantrums, but I've worked hard, done everything I'm supposed to, and now my rankings range from good to exceptional (English <3). My report was outstanding. Everything is happening how I need it to in order to get what I want: Arts/Law at Monash, or at least Arts.

Ok, so, I know that other than the odd comment or two on lj, we don't know each other at all, so I hope it's alright for me to comment here. Anyway, what I wanted to say was that it's normal to be scared when one period of your life ends and another begins. Completely normal. And everyone has those doubts about uni, about the coursework being too much, or not being able to handle it. It is an adjustment, and it takes a little while. The thing is, you WILL adjust, and you WILL be able to handle it. Trust me. If you choose to do literature and law and you find you don't much like studying them, then you can always change. You have a fair bit of flexibility with majors and the like. I study Ahthropology and Literature myself, though it took me forever to get here. I did a year of psychology straight after high school, hated it, took some time off (about 4 years) to work and travel, before I finally came back to uni, and even then I wasn't sure. I only settled on literature after trying international relations and hating it. Its just a ( ... )
